Tell It To Your Journal

Sometimes there are things that we don’t want to share with others, or things we need to process before we share. If there isn’t a deeply trusted friend handy, try telling your story to a journal. Paper and ink don’t judge, but they help you think through and think about things in a generally helpful way.

Not a writer, you say?

Remember that we aren’t looking for a Pulitzer Prize, but to gain some clarity about experiences in our lives. That can be a great reward! And if you really don’t think it will help to journal, please give yourself the gift of 15 minutes to journal each day for 3 consecutive days. If you don’t find ANY value after 3 days, maybe it’s time to try adopting another tool. Thanks for giving it an honest try.
