Today is Michael Jordan’s birthday and recently a quote of his seemed to resonate with several readers, so I want to wish him a happy birthday and share another of his many inspirational quotes.
“Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.”
So let’s hear it for the ‘others’ and better yet – let’s BE the ‘others’ who make things happen. I love to wish and wonder, and I think visualization has power beyond our comprehension. But mere wishing and envisioning will not suffice.
Don’t make excuses, make it happen. And one more MJ quote that seems apropos…
“I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying.”
