Gold Rush!
On January 23, 1848 the California Gold Rush began after James Marshall found gold at Sutter’s Mill in Caloma. Historians say that 300,000 traveled there in pursuit of treasure that MIGHT reside there.
That’s quite an act of faith, isn’t it? To pack up your family or head off alone in pursuit of a prize you haven’t actually seen is certainly an act of courage. I love courageous people – they inspire me. That’s why I love my work so much. I daily serve brave folks – hopeful folks willing to believe in a prize they often have not yet seen.
At the end of your journey there waits a treasure. Don’t grow weary or fearful. Countless others have made your journey and NONE have ever regretted it. That’s right… after 20 years of ushering thousands of brave souls along a journey to freedom, not a one has EVER told me they were sorry they made that change.
You see, as much as they sought the rewards of conquering their addiction – the health benefits, emotional and spiritual freedom, and the financial savings, these folks eventually realized that THEY were the greatest treasure! Don’t lose sight of the true prize – YOU!
‘Let us never grow weary of doing good, for in due season, we will reap, if we don’t lose heart.’ Galatians 6:9
Keep your eye on the prize and don’t lose heart! http://ow.ly/i/CfWqT
