Remember that a coffee cup (or any other trigger) can NOT “MAKE” you use.
Let’s be honest, we really need to be BIGGER than the TRIGGER.
Considering the three A’s may help with triggers.
1. Alter your routines – grab your coffee at the drive-thru window.
2. Avoid some situations – don’t drink coffee.
3. Accept things you can’t change – coffee without cig will feel awkward, but awkwardness doesn’t kill 1200 people every day – smoking does.
