It may seem “corny,” but this simple quote makes sense (whether we want to admit it or not.)
“When it rains, look for rainbows.
When it’s dark, look for stars.”
There are always signs of hope and points of light – even in the midst of life’s wildest storms and darkest moments. ALWAYS. If we’re honest, we’ve all looked back and seen bright spots in the dark trials. So it really does seem that the stars and rainbows are there. Let’s TRY to look for them while we’re in the dark or in the storm.
The fact is there are countless stars in the galaxy. Our ability to see or not see them is a matter of perspective, focus, and intent.
If you feel overwhelmed by the storm or dark, be sure you have an ear open to hear a voice of optimism. Keep yourself connected to people who are willing to be your twinkle of hope. We all need that and we all deserve that. Remember what Charlie Mackesy wrote in his book, “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse.”
Asking for help isn’t giving up…
Let’s keep looking up!
