First Snowfall
The first snowfall of the season can be a magical thing. In some ways it creates a fresh, clean, even sparkling world. Fallen leaves, dried and dead, are first sugar-coated and then completely vanish under the mounting flakes of white. Breathe in the cold, crisp air and be encouraged by the fresh start offered in a world wearing it’s coat of new fallen snow.
Today I will choose not bemoan the change in weather, nor will I gripe about traffic traveling at a slower pace or the dropping temperature. Today I will look with hope-filled eyes at the twinkling flakes of snow and imagine the good things which wait just ahead.
May you choose to embrace this day as a new beginning for any area of your life that feels stagnant or stuck. http://ow.ly/i/BbDA8
